Junior Software Developer - C#/ASP.Net - Manchester
Junior Software Developer required for a professional organisation based in Manchester, where you will be working with the in-house team developing and supporting their growing range of niche websites. You will be required to work with other developers to help drive further development and innovation across the brand.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with C# and ASP.Net, potentially with experience working with CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Work within the development team to support the company's websites and CRM systems
- Work from briefs and assignments from the business and the senior development team
- Deliver an excellent standard of code consistent with the organisations defined best practices and standards
- Be flexible and adaptable working across both large projects and day-to-day maintenance requests
- Interpret and respond with a positive, proactive attitude to briefs supplied by the business
- Support IT infrastructure, ensuring effective maintenance of existing systems
- Adhere to best practice in application of standards and adherence with compliance requirements
- Ensure the relevant security measures are in place to protect the company and customer data, adhering to the guidelines set out by out by the company IT security advisors
- Communicate progress throughout your work, highlighting risks, issues and where relevant proposing contingencies & solutions
Ideally you will have experience with:
- C# and ASP.Net MVC
- HTML5, CSS3, JS Development, XML
- Responsive and Adaptive web design
- Object Orientated Design
- DevOps
- E-commerce/transactional website experience - building from scratch and legacy system improvements
- You are a team player with strong communication skills who can provide mentoring for developers.
- You are keen to recommend and implement improvements to our business practices.
- You adapt well to new projects, briefs and challenges with a positive attitude, seeking solutions to challenges.
- You keep on top of new trends, striving to further evolve your skills.
Salary
The salary for this position is up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for progression.
