About Us
We are an Independent Financial Services practice serving around 1000 clients. We provide the full range of financial services; pensions and investments, mortgages and insurance and retirement financial planning advice.
Our mortgages services team support a wide range of clients with personal and commercial mortgage and insurance needs but they also work closely with the financial advisers to ensure that our clients receive the full package of care with regards to their retirement and investment needs.
From 2016 to the current time we have been building a business model which relies on suitably qualified and skilled mortgage advisers who not only wish to support and bring in business with regards to transactional clients, but who also wish to build a portfolio of clients where the full range of financial planning needs can be provided. To this end our mortgage service has become a suitable training ground for those who wish to further their careers in the area of financial advice, securing Diploma Level 4 in the process, whilst supporting the mortgage function of the business.
Who are we looking for?
This unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced mortgage adviser/IFA trainee to join our business. Some support will be provided for lead generation but you will be expected to demonstrate high mortgage service acumen so that you can naturally attract clients to the business.
You will be keen to help support and develop the mortgage arm of our business. You will be CeMAP(or equivalent) qualified and you will be looking to move into financial services as your next career move.
Your ultimate goal will be to achieve Independent Financial Adviser status and so you must be prepared to work hard as a Mortgage Service Adviser whilst studying for this role and be able to manage the demands on your time, albeit that study periods will be provided.
Specific requirements

CeMAP(or equivalent) qualified with at least 3 years' experience in mortgage/financial services essential

Knowledge and experience of insurance services, essential.

Full knowledge of mortgage and insurance systems, processing and product selection.

Diploma Level 4 (or studying towards it) in Financial Services desirable but not essential as full support in achieving this will be provided for the right candidate.

Track record of lead conversion rates backed up with empirical data.

In return we will offer you

Salary £25k-£29k basic pa, plus bonus of 30% of fees over agreed salary on a 6 mthly cycle, (unless you already hold Diploma Level 4 in which case this will be re-considered within the context of our IFA salary scale.)

All expenses paid for study towards Diploma level 4 and associated IFA study and exam material.

Some mortgage and insurance leads provided, but activity in lead generation desirable.

Permanent full time contract after successful 6 monthly probationary period.

Experienced mentorship to assist you with the learning programme, plus study time.
