We are looking for someone to help us meet the challenges posed by a fast-moving customer focused agenda, within the SSCL Resourcing, Innovation and Change Team based at our Newport Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Established in 2013, SSCL (Shared Services Connected Limited), is a joint venture between Sopra Steria and the Cabinet Office.
We have an enviable track record in the design and delivery of large scale business support solutions including HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Procurement and Administration for our long list of clients including The Department for Work and Pensions, Environment Agency Department for Education, Ministry of Justice, Met Police and the Home Office.
Role Overview
We are looking for someone to support an established team to deliver complex, medium/high risk, business critical projects for our diverse customer base within the resourcing and recruitment sector, utilising a wide range of systems and techniques and often high profile in nature and under challenging timescales.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Documentation management and project governance activities.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to analyse business processes, identifying problems as well as solutions so that new business decisions can be made and change implemented.
- Monitoring assignments to ensure goals and milestones are being met in accordance with agreed scope, time, financial and quality measures.
- Risk management - Identify and manage risk and take responsibility for reporting risks in a timely, open and appropriate manner.
- Testing new systems and processes.
- Determine where a business encounters a problem and works to address the issue.
Suitable Skills:
- Having a background in project support would be beneficial but it's not a deal breaker, we welcome applicants with an interest in problem solving and innovation to contribute new ideas to our organisation and our customers.
- Adaptable to working in an ever-changing environment with various management tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of business environments and commercial awareness.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with SSCL customers and internal SSCL stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of modern techniques used in problem resolution, with a high attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience in the latest developments and future strategy of Resourcing services (Desirable)
