Projects Manager, Junior, Groundworks and Civils. Working on packages from £20k to £200k for commercial, residential, and school projects. Growing contractor working on projects from Windsor to Folkestone. £275-£300 UTR. Would suit Site Manager who can cover multiple sites and wants to progress to Contracts Manager.
Projects Manager. To work for a growing Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractor that is steadily picking up additional work. Their area of work covers South Essex and East London, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex, mainly within reach of the M25. You must have your own transport and a current driving licence.
Your Profile. Trades or Professional background. Either ~ Working up through the ranks you will have supervisory and management experience. Or ~ As a competent, qualified Civil Engineer, you will be given an opportunity to develop your career from a Project or Senior Engineer level into management.
Responsible. You will be capable of taking responsibility for live and impending contracts, meeting clients, programming and maintaining strong links with the Commercial side of the business. Repeat business is an important element for this company and your negotiations must reflect this. You must be IT literate and capable of dealing with all reporting issues linked to programmes and performance.
The Role. You will initially look after 2-3 sites and progress to taking on more responsibility as you develop with the company. You will preferably live in Kent, to minimise travel.

Qualifications & Experience. Ideally qualified in Civil Engineering, having worked your way up via the Site Engineering route, with a minimum of 3 years practical experience, working for a groundworks' contractor. You will be dealing with Clients, Design Professionals, Local Authority representatives as well as site staff. Your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification should be up to date.
