Check raw materials for quality and size

Repair machinery breakdowns where possible
Report production problems beyond your control to minimise downtime
Use lifting equipment as necessary
Ensure work materials are available for jobs
Ensure that equipment is set in accordance with setting instructions
The Person
This position will be ideal for a person with interest in assembly projects or vehicle mechanics
Good understanding of English
Experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
Good work ethics
Will be motivated and looking for long term work
Have a minimum of 2 years machine operating/assembly
Be able to demonstrate an aptitude to learn
Be organised to be able to cope with multiple tasks
Above average numerical and literacy skills
Have the ability to use micrometre measuring equipment
