Trainee Estimator Merstham, Surrey £18k - £23k (p.a)
Our clients are now looking for a Junior Estimator to join their Estimating department. Ideally, they are looking for a candidate who has worked within a customer service department or estimating department within a manufacturing environment.
As a family-run business Customer Service is massively important so we are looking for an individual with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Role Responsibilities
- Handling of incoming enquiries and estimates ensuring that these are generated and provided to our sales and project managers within a 48 hour period.
- Working alongside the two other members of the team reporting to the manager within that department.
- Liaising with the in-house design team, customer service and sales departments.
- Respond to all emails within 24 hours.
- Training will be given to the chosen candidate

Computer Skills
- Must be adept in the use of MS Office applications, with CRM database experience to basic level, Internet and email.
- Must be adept with creative software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat Pro and related technology.
- We have an MIS system called Tharsterns so the ability to learn this.
- Planning is ofter required using a software package called Impact.
Salary £18-£23k.
Hours 9.00 - 5.30 pm
