Hourly Rate as follows:
NMW1 £4.55 (age 16-17)
NMW 2 £6.45 (age 18-20)
NMW 3 £8.20 (age 21+)
Salary: £8,303.74 - £14,964.98 per annum
Contract Duration: Temporary until 31 March 2022
Role Purpose
Modern Apprenticeships (MA) offer new entrants to the labour market the chance of paid employment combined with the opportunity to do training relevant to the occupational area. They include the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications that help kick-start a career without having to study full-time. New entrants include school and college leavers, those with no previous work experience and/or vocational qualifications.
We have an exciting opportunity to employ a Modern Apprentice within the HR Shared Services Team where the successful candidate will learn all aspects of Payroll processing. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a formal MA in Payroll, leading to an SCQF level 6 qualification on successful completion.
Essential
A good general education to National 5 level or equivalent including English and Maths.
In accordance with Government Guidelines, you will need to be aged 16-24 (at the point of starting the apprenticeship) to qualify for this position.
