They have an opening for a Junior Account Manager in their Manchester offices. It is a very busy time for them and having just taken on board a number of apprentices it's now key for them to get someone on board who is experienced so they can take their time to train the newbies in all things freight!
The Ideal Candidate:
- You'll need to have worked in Freight / Logistics for 1 - 2 years ideally.
- They're an ambitious business and are looking for like-minded employees!
- It's important that you're a naturally positive and proactive person.
- Manchester based.
The Job:
- You'll join as a Junior Account Manager, where you will seek, develop an d secure new opportunities from existing business.
- You will measure, monitor and review the performance of key accounts, ensuring budgets and forecasts are met continually.
- As an account manager, you will manage your client's import operation from inception through to completion.
- You will select appropriate carrier to maximise freight profits
- You will always be on the lookout for new business opportunities and will take a keen interest in market trends to keep abreast of the competition.
- You should be comfortable working with many different clients and developing long-term relationships.
- There are amazing support teams around you to help you in your job.
