Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be working with Workstation Specialists, who design and manufacture high-performance computing solutions for the professional market.

Founded in 1986 as a hardware division of StruMIS Ltd they have grown at a tremendously fast rate and are now one of the largest independent computer workstation manufacturers in Europe. They are now looking for a passionate individual to join their fast-growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Be involved in the development of laptops and desktops
• Be involved with networks and switches
• Working closely with SQL
• IT help desk and call handling
• Dealing with tickets from internal employees at Workstation Specialists

Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and Workstation Specialists.

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:

• Good Maths skills
• Some experience with SharePoint and Microsoft office would be beneficial
• Experience with Computer Hardware would be beneficial
• Open-minded and an analytical thinker
• Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics is required

Salary, Hours & Holidays:

• The annual wage of £7553
• Monday to Friday (8 am- 5:30pm)
• 1 Hour lunch break
• 22 days of annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays)

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program. You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time Developer position with the business or progress onto a Level 4 Programme.
