Field Service Technician - Trainee Staines, Middlesex £21k - £23k (p.a)

This is a super opportunity for a trainee to move into and make a career as a Field Service Technician, working for our clients who are industry leaders. Full training will be given on the installation and maintenance of products which are parcel locker machines and security devices.

No experience working in the field is necessary though electro mechanical knowledge would be useful. Having a positive 'can do' attitude, being a hard worker and the desire to work as a Field Technician is more important than experience.

You will be home based and will be required to travel to and from sites, some with long distance driving. A fully expensed company van will be provided along with all tools required to carry out the work. Experience using basic tools and having a practical attitude are essential.

You must also have great customer service skills as you may meet customers on occasion.

This role offers a great career path for candidates who have a willingness to learn, a positive 'can do' and flexible attitude. Training will be given on the job by an experienced Field Engineer, which will also be ongoing as new products are introduced.

You will be working an 8 hour day, Monday to Friday and your day starts from the moment you leave your home. Overtime will be paid on any hours over the contracted 40 hour week.

• Previous experience in a similar or practical role ideal but not essential

• Able to work to deadlines.
• Full Driving Licence, excellent driving skills, good driving safety record.

• Able to be security vetted, which will include a criminal record and adverse financial check.
