Our client is a leading carpentry and joinery contractor based in the South East of the UK.
They are currently recruiting for Management Trainees to join their Apprenticeship Scheme (5 years HNC to Degree day release.)
The apprenticeship scheme gives individuals the opportunity to learn all areas of the industry from day 1. Based in Rochester for the first 3 to 6 months but you would then travel around to different sites and locations to learn from a Project view, therefore this role would suit candidates who are drivers with their own transport
- At the end of the 2 - 5 year programme you will be proficient in managing within one of the chosen departments.
- Medium term opportunity to be senior manager within specialist department.

As an Apprentice, you will be given the unique opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience required for career development under direction of experienced personnel.
Comprehensive training will include duties in several departments such as Construction, Commercial, Estimating, Finance, Customer Care, Health & Safety.
The ideal candidate will be open to learning new things, not afraid to take chances, and interested in learning every aspect of the business, including operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices affecting each phase of business.
- You would be required to meet performance goals and objectives, observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
- To train in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments
- Provide support as needed in the various departments, including reporting, data-entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, customer service as needed
