Due to ongoing expansion, this organisation has a new vacancy for a Retail Subject Specialist, who will be responsible for the curriculum design and programme delivery of the L2 Retailer apprenticeship standard for a prestigious Levy employer who operate nationally. Delivering a high-quality programme that surpasses stakeholder expectations and strengthens knowledge, skills and behaviours across the sector.
We are ideally seeking someone based in the Midlands. It will be a home-based role with travel as required - being a national employer there will be a requirement to travel to complete observations from time to time
The successful candidate will deliver the end to end learner journey up to the point of EPA.
Applicants must have experience of delivering training in Retail, and an extensive work history (5 + years) in the sector.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
* To create an engaging blended learning programme that inspires and motivates learners to improve their knowledge, skills and behaviours in the field of Retail.
* Develop a flexible learning programme that accommodates group delivery and 1-1 delivery, offering a digital learning platform in addition to traditional face to face learning opportunities.
* Delivers monthly, knowledge based learning modules in accordance with the IFA assessment guidelines.
* Conducts regular assessment of learning through a variety of methods.
* Creates bespoke learning plans for each individual learner to stretch and challenge their ongoing development.
* Ongoing curriculum review to ensure it is innovative and impactful.
* Embeds functional English and maths and digital skills into the curriculum, ensuring upskilling in the key areas.
* Competent use of the OneFile e-portfolio system to evidence and log all learning interventions, demonstrating the ongoing progress of each learner throughout their programme duration.
* Prepares the learner for their end point assessment, conducting mock assessments to ensure readiness.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* 5+ years' experience of working in the Retail Sector (Essential)
* Delivered formal training within Retail (Essential)
* Experience in writing programme content (Essential)
* English and Maths at Level 2 or above (Essential)
* Assessor qualification (Desirable)
* A teaching qualification (Desirable)
* I.T - Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages (inc MS Office) and systems relevant to the department in order to: write emails, record and analyse data.
* Good communication skills, whether face-to-face, face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms
